The Durston Double D2 Rolling Mill is a versatile, heavy-duty mill designed for jewellers and metalworkers who need both flat and wire rolling capability in one compact machine. This model features two sets of precision-engineered rolls — one for flat rolling and another for square wire rolling — offering maximum efficiency and flexibility in your workshop.
The flat rolls include side extension rollers with four half-round profiles in 4 mm, 3 mm, 2 mm, and 1.5 mm, while the wire rolls provide 19 square grooves ranging from 10 mm down to 1 mm. The extra-wide 130 mm flat area gives you plenty of working space for sheet metal and pattern plate projects.
The mill features two optimized gear ratios — 7:1 for flat rolling and 3.5:1 for wire rolling — allowing smooth manual operation with minimal effort. Built with Durston’s first integrated roller bearing system, the D2 delivers exceptional stability and long-term performance.
All gearing is enclosed within protective plastic housings for safety, and large, easy-to-read calibrated discs make adjustments fast and accurate. Guide plates further enhance precision, ensuring consistent, professional results over the lifetime of the mill.
