Sunstone Opposed Weld Head
The WH1 Opposed Weld Head is designed for precise, small-scale spot welding applications where accuracy, consistency, and controlled electrode pressure are essential. Built with opposed weld electrodes, it is ideal for fine spot resistance welding across various materials and part sizes.
The standard WH1125 model uses 0.125"³ diameter electrodes, while users who require larger electrodes can upgrade to the WH1250, which supports 0.250"³ diameter electrodes. Once installed, the weld head can be fully adjusted to match your specific welding requirements, including electrode pressure and head travel. The vertical head travel ranges from 0 to 5.25 inches, allowing flexibility for different part sizes.
For pneumatic operation, the WH1 weld head uses an air actuator system that requires a compressor—any compressor size will work thanks to the built-in pressure regulator. Users can adjust both air pressure and head travel speed to suit their workflow. Welding is activated quickly through the included foot pedal switch, making operation smooth and efficient.
